The company’s founding year. The beginnings were defined by passion and focus on the distribution of IT&C components. We have developed partnerships with leading electronics producers, which lead to our recognition as an important player in the national IT distribution market.
2006 – 2007
2006 is the year of SERIOUX launch, NOD first private label of IT products. 5 years later, SERIOUX becomes the # 1 Romanian brand in sales. In 2007, a brand new successful brand emerged: HORIZON. LCD and LED TVs are quickly imposed on the Romanian market and among the top consumer preferences in Romania.
2010 – 2011
The HEINNER brand is launched, with a full range of home appliances to meet everyday needs in every home, synchronizing technological requirements with users comfort.
2012

2013 – 2014
In 2013, the commercial fund of MICRO Components is taken over. The transaction strengthens our position as leaders in the electro-IT distribution market. 2014 is the year of opening new development directions in the children’s products, toys and DIY products industry.
2015 – 2016
2015 is the start of NOD ACADEMY program, the only partnership program in the electro-IT market, which brings together and promotes professionals and specialized resources; NOD becomes the majority shareholder of the Pegas local bicycle manufacturer, the purpose of the investment being the development of Romanian brands.
2017 – 2018
Year of NOD’s consolidation as an important player on the physical and cyber security market. The new development line complements NOD portfolio with integrated solutions, security management systems, video surveillance, detection and warning systems, anti-fire, access control, integrated and scalable technologies.
2019 – 2020
In the new global context generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, a new way of doing business is developing: work from home or anywhere. NOD supports digital transformation in all areas of activity, the availability of products in stock and the diversity of solutions offered being the main strengths of continuity and transition to the new business normal.
2021 – 2022
Together we digitize Romania. A strategic direction and an objective assumed together with the ecosystem of NOD Academy partners, through which the most innovative solutions will be implemented at national level, in order to accelerate the progress and modernization of Romanian society, on a personal as well as institutional and commercial level.
2023 – 2024
The year of NOD Sustainable Energy development, division specialized in sustainable energy solutions. NOD portfolio now includes the most demanded renewable energy equipment and solutions, from smart lighting and heat pumps, to photovoltaic panels and high-performance inverters or power stations and voltage optimizers.
